Founder and CEO
Valerie Freeman is the founder and CEO of Dallas-based Imprimis Group, Inc., a leading provider of workforce solutions and human capital consulting. Imprimis operates under the brand names Imprimis Staffing, Bravo Technical Resources, Human Capital Solutions, Freeman+Leonard, Mature Personnel and Third Party Pay. She is also a founder and Board member of two for-profit organizations, ANSERTEAM, LLC, a national staffing firm and the Texas Women Ventures Fund, which makes investments in women-owned companies. In the past, she has also been an organizer and Director of two banks.
Valerie has served on many boards and awarded many accolades in her 30-year career. Northwood University named her “Outstanding Business Leader” and the Women’s Business Council of the Southwest named Imprimis the “ Women’s Business Enterprise of the Year.” She received the Athena Award from the Dallas Regional Chamber and the “Real Girls Real Women” Award from the Girl Scouts of NE Texas. She was also honored as one of the 25 most influential women in business by the Dallas Business Journal. She is also past “Ernst & Young” Entrepreneur of the Year.

Valerie serves on the Boards of the Dallas Foundation, the Dallas County Community College Foundation (immediate past chair of the board), North Dallas Chamber, Girl Scouts of NE Texas (chair of the board), and the Dallas Assembly. She also serves on the Advisory Boards of the Alliance of Technology and Women and Women’s Enterprise Publications. She is a member of Leadership Texas Alumni Assn., YPO/WPO, Dallas Chapter of Women Corporate Directors, International Women’s Forum, and Executive Women’s Roundtable.

Valerie holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Education from the University of Houston where she was honored as Distinguished Alum.
